I was stopped in the corridor at work yesterday and told that he had been told I was setting up a 'Go Club'. He was very excited about it.
He seemed very disappointed when I pointed out that a group of us are trying to meet regularly to play go (a game with a long and auspicious history).
Only not here in Hertfordshire. In Brighton.
Wrong side of London. Or right side, depending on how you view it...
(Next meeting: Friday 14 November, 8pm. Email me if you want to attend.)
I think he now wants me to set up a similar group here...
I'm not even a good player.
