The Brighton Pirates

Now that I finally have access to my computer again I can start writing about the exciting things that have happened this week.

If I can remember them.

But then how could I forget the pirates? Three of us organised a pirate raid (James, Ed and myself). And won.

Early planning stages led to a simple plan. Go to The Pit nightclub in Brighton on the 27th August as pirates. Try to get as many pirates as possible.

Flash. Pirate. Mob.

Not only did we get people dressed as pirates. We got half the club dressed as pirates. Estimates sit at about 30-40 pirates.

And we ran out of rum!

Arrrrr.

There are even photos to prove it.

I'm not convinced about the plans for the sequel though....

If it hadn't been for my sudden ability to create rabbits, I might have found the Brighton Bloggers meeting of the following night a bit tame in comparison...

Things then changed pace as on Friday night a group of us went to the bpec benefit gig at the King and Queen. However, I was shocked by how silly their prices were - £2.51 for a pint of cider. Not £2.50, £2.51. Explain that if you will.

So that would be part of my marauding week in Pirate-swept Brighton. Soon I shall be away, and back to the quiet contemplation of Hertfordshire...

I'll miss it.

I forgot to mention that my fingers hurt for a day after a particularly appaling (on my part) game of mercy.
