Whenever I mention Brown Goats Cheese as a food to one of my friends, or even suggest that they try some, I stress the fact that it is an acquired taste.
I think is like marmite, in so far as most people are disturbed when they first try it.
"Tastes like tarmac," they say.
But it is nice with waffles and jam.
I still refuse to try Lutefisk though.

Most people I've fed it to say it tastes like toffee and are therefore pretty reluctant to consider it as "food".
Tarmac flavoured toffee? Yummy.
